I had posted earlier about the frustration I was having with my neurologist and neurosurgeon trying to figure out why I was still experiencing pain, headaches, numbness in right arm and pain in my neck. After my last visit with the neuro, I was ready to find a different avenue or doc or anything. I went home that night and prayed to God to give me help. That night, I had a dream in which I was told I have two tumors on my liver and one in my neck. He also told me that you know where they are, now take care of them.
I didn't know what to think but I shared this with my wife and my Pastor. We all decided that I should take this info to my primary care doc. I went in and shared everything with her. I told her the number and location of the tumors. She said that she has faith in a higher power and that we were going to check it out. Had mri on my neck and sonagram and ct scan on my abdomen. Got the preliminary results back today and there is one tumor on my C6 vertabra and exactly two tumors in my liver! Still don't know what all I am facing but should have results and battle plan next week. My faith has been taken to a higher level and you can scoff if you want, but I know God was talking to me and everything is going to be just fine.

P.S. Sure glad I didn't start that Depakote!!!!

Having a merry Christmas and wishing you the same,
Bob :)

Wow, that's pretty amazing. Good thing you took your "insights" seriously.

I remember once having a dream about my teeth... and it was an apt warning.

I forget exactly how, now. But I remember at the time thinking that my body knew something was wrong, and it was right.

That sounds as if I'm saying it was my body giving me the dream, and not God.

That's not how I meant that to come out. I mean that our bodies have things going on that we aren't conscious of. And our higher power can tell us, for sure.

Thank you for the post. Very inspiring. :)

Dear Consider This, Thanks for the reply. I was suprised to only get one reply considering what happened. I guess when you mention God, it tends to scare people off or offend them. I honestly was not trying to do either. I too think that God speaks to us through our bodies. I don't claim to understand the process, but I do think he will speak to you if you just listen. In my case, it could very well end up saving my life.

Hope your holidays were great and wishing you all a healthy New Year.

Hi Panhandle, :)

((((((((((((((((((((((Panhandle))))))))))))))))))) )

Maybe more people will keep responding. :)

I think people have a strong desire to believe in their doctors and in medicine. Which is okay. It's just that I think we have to keep listening to your bodies and the Higher Power.

I want to mention fingernails, here, but that may bring down the tone... since you were talking about God.

I think that the way God made us, our fingernails reflect our health so that it's more easy for us to stay healthy. :)

I hope you had a dynamite Christmas, too! :)
