Default This forum seems a bit flakey

Or it's me, or more likely, both of us.

So far:

- Threads and postings seem to arbitrarily disappear, then reappear. There was a thread on getting new servers, mirrored servers, foundation money, advertising money, and help for John and/or turn it over to a non-profit foundation. I can't find that thread at all. I'd appreciate a reply with a link to it. Thanks.

- The search functions don't work

Default I think I just saw it...

under 'Forum Feedback'.

As for searching, I recall either DocJohn or Zombie saying something in the very beginning. Don't hold me to it tho.

Good thoughts, lots of them, in the meantime! - j

Hi David~
This one?
http://forums.braintalk2.org/showthread.php?t=94

and just found it through the PN forum here: http://forums.braintalk2.org/showthread.php?t=95

This is a temporary iterim forum, so I don't think it would be worth spending much time on enabling/disabling features, investigating technical glitches, etc.

This was just set up so people could reconnect if they hadn't found an opportunity to do so elsewhere, etc.

Cara

I posted three things today, and they and their threads are gone.

Dr.John, if you see this, I think the databases need to be reindexed.

Where is this thread?

http://forums.braintalk2.org/showthread.php?t=107

I think the missing thread was critically important to us and I saw nothing untoward in it. If a posting was untoward, the posting should have been deleted, not the thread.

Why do we only have 10 threads on the main index page after all this time? Surely we're a much livelier group that that.

i'm not sure why you aren't having posts show up wings. i haven't seen that any are missing.

is your computer taking you back ot pages you have already seen? have you hit refresh?

you can also find your posts by left clicking on your name and following the link that says all posts by wings...
