My Mood:
Default sleep apnea and ambien

I seem to get enough sleep control by using ambien I work 3rd shift (4 10 hour days) and try to retain 1st shift relationships on the weekends, I have been taking ambien mostly daily for the last 6 months I even break up the ambien to 1/3s and 1/4s to be able to sleep a few hours (works well for me) but I am wondering what the actual sleepworthiness of this and since I have never had my sleep apnea measured or been treated am I making things worse for me? I recently gained 20 lbs but I think it is eating wrong and not excercising like I used to I will address that soon but just looking for opinions although I know that I am playing with a time bomb..Oh yeah my agency just came up with a new insurance plan with $3,000 deductible lovely huh?
