An imaginative use of technology has allowed James Brosnan to use his laptop to jam with musicians – despite having cerebral palsy and being in a wheelchair, writes SIOBHÁN LONG

Wish James Brosnan instead had the DynaVox EyeMax. Instead of just playing .wav files - which is all that can be done on the Tobii system, the DynaVox software allows the user to compose their own song with lyrics - and then sing it with the correct notes, etc. There is also better communication content and accuracy within the DynaVox EyeMax as well.
