If you do, my pharmacist informed me they are pulling the generic again. She could not tell me why, but we will have to take the name brand once again. To me, this is a double edged sword. The name brand lasts longer, but $10 versus $50

Heard through the grape vine the generic was coming from another country. USA will only carry name brand. Maybe wrong. My co-pays on 2 of my medications for the nerve damage in my lower back is back to $50.00 each. I was paying $10.00 for one and $20 for the other.

Here is a record of discontinued products:

According to the FDA Orange Book, Mallinckrodt is the only one approved currently by FDA, and now they have discontinued it.

Since Methadone is so cheap 90 tablets of 10mg 20.00 dollars a month, I keep reading the FDA is being pushed to take it off the market. To me its the best pain controller I have tried. I have to be seen once a month for refill, I'm allowed 3 10mg aday, but only take 2 10mg aday with the Lyrica. If something works and is affordable why do they have to screw it up. I don't get high off the stuff ( it works great with the B complex) and don't drink anymore after 30 years of the evening toddy's.
