Default Use Of Chat room

I was just wondering why any of the members who post their thoughts, don't use the chat room that is available for real time discussions. It seemd to me that if other members were to come together in the chat room, we could exchange ideas and thoughts in real time and spark new ideas and have info more available by discussing it as a group, rather then posting our thoughts and having them read either hurs or even days later. Just a thought. Peace to all and hope your all having a pain free day. mellowguy.

Chat sessions are a great idea, but may I suggest you set a day and time? For example.... Tuesday and/or Thursday at (say) 7pm Central Time!

That's just a suggestion! You might prefer 11am or 4pm on a different day!

A set time and a particular day of the week, would be the way to go because people tend to get bored with sitting in the chat room hoping for some-one to drop by, and they leave when no-one does.

If you have a set day and time you'd be more likely to get others prepared to join in as they'd know what time to check in.

Remember also that weekends and Friday evenings are traditionally quiet around the forums, as most people spend time with family and friends on these days.

Because NT encompasses every state in the USA and several other countries, the time factor is important, so if you do want members from all states and countries to join in....you might want to look at their time zones when setting your chat times.

Pick a time, and a day, and post them here in the forum.

Good luck.... I hope your chat sessions are very successful.

I think that is a great idea. I would love to chat with everyone in real time. Anytime in the evening works for me. =) I look forward chatting with everyone.

We could do most anytimes,
but on other boards,
I found Sunday evenings, to be the easiest.
Around late dinner time, say, 7.00-10.00 EST, and then take it from there.
But, I'm NOT running the show....
So,
just let me know when....
I'll do my best to be there!!!!

pete

(I'd bet everyone else would too)!

PS

I notice that this forum slows down on weekends.
Are we football watchers on Sundays, or, do we stay by our spouses?
We could be spending time here, while they watch FB.
(I'm obviously not a Huge sports guy).

Like I said, whatever works out.....

Sometimes, you just gotta park yer tail in the "forum"
and wait!

Seems that everyone is waiting for some-one to make a day and time, so......

What about Wednesday night..... 7pm Central time, until whenever?
