one word, popcicles!

make them from gatorade! or pedialyte. even jello cubes can help hydrate, make sure to add some gatorade or pedialyte to the mix to keep her electrolytes up.

its scary to have a sick child. Hang in there.

Dej, that is a great idea! My dgd loves chocolate milk but that is off the list when she is ill. I let her have YooHoo, which seemed to be okay. Regular milk gets her more snuffy, but Yoohoo doesn't add to the congestion.

Will try the gatorade-pops and jello cubes.

Thanks all! She's pretty much recovered but it's going to take a lot of time to get all her strength back.
