Default runny nose

I have Fibro and have a runny nose all the time. I am on allergy meds that do nothing for me. I am wondering if this is a symptom of Fibro.

Hi Ada. Boy, I'm not sure. It isn't something I've encountered with fibro. Although, I get a sore throat and flu-like symptoms fairly regularly. In fact, I should keep track of those. I'm never quite sure if I am getting a throat infection, or if it's just the fibro.

Oh wait! Check this out...a composite of symptoms from Devin Starlanyl. http://chronicfatigue.about.com/od/w...rosymptoms.htm

Sinus & Allergy-Related Fibromyalgia Symptoms

* Allergies
* Post nasal drip
* Runny nose
* Mold & yeast sensitivity
* Shortness of breath
* Earaches & itchy ears
* Ringing ears (tinitis)
* Thick secretions

My Mood:
Default Hi,

Thanks for this info. I have both Fibro and CFS along with RSD and I wanted to know why allergy meds did nothing for my runny nose.

Great info.

Wow...maybe that explains why I sneeze and start to feel like I'm getting a cold and then it is gone. I do have a bit of a runny nose now and then during the day...hmmmm...thanks for bringing up this subject!

Oh My Gosh! I never correlated my runny nose (runny to the point of having an infected sore inside for months at a time) with my Fibro before this!

If you have a constant runny nose with clear secretions that is not helped with antihistamines, you probably need a work up for a CSF leak.
