Hey pamster, I have had a fondness for turtles and loved your picture. My family while they were growing up really did save alot of box turtles. Missorui is a migration route for several species of box turtles. I lived near the woods, with a stream running though it. We would rescue all turtles we could and keep them for a time in the kiddie pool we had on the deck. we fed them really good, enjoyed their company and released them into the woods. We even had them named, orange juice, and fertile mertal the traveling turtle. She was something else from the title of her. Orange juice stayed around our house for years, coming back daily for whatever good stuff we put out. Stawberries were his favorite. He would hibernate, and come back each spring. what good memories I have of those days with the turtles. ginnie
