Thanks everyone! I am really kinda worried that the one we liked in the neighborhood isn't meant to be because we have to wait 6 weeks before we can make an offer on it. I t very well might sell before that. We'll have to see. It has been on the market for 5 years though, so another thing is that I wonder if it's got something wrong with it? I mean really. Five years?? Every other house didn't last 6 months because this is a great location.

Thanks for the kind words about the ring bowl/dish and my nails, Donna & Di! I really appreciate it! I just broke one on my leftie, the photographing hand, not all the way down, just lost 2 mm of length on my middle finger. Kinda a bummer but they grow back and not too slowly since I have biotin well in gear since it's been a year that it's been on board. A nail polish supplier contacted me and wanted me to review a new Konad stamping plate, I said YES! They have to send me the plate so I'll be doing my first real review on something a company offered to send to me, soon! Probably in the next two weeks. Exciting times right now. I am still STUNNED my credit was good enough to get on the home loan with Jack.

*does a happy Pamster dance*

so happy for you pammie,
yes there may be some major problems with that house. any way you can get it inspected ? It would cost you a couple hundred dollars but well worth it.

The only way to get it inspected that I know of is to get in a contract and have it be conitignent on a satisfactory insepction....If there is stuff wrong they will have to fix it or knock off the price...Even if they do knock off the price doesn't mean the lender will like it, they'd rather see repairs made before closing if I remember what I learned at the HUD class....Oh well, have to play it by ear, regardless I am back to looking at the other houses which are also suprisingly still on the market from last year when I was just starting to get interested...

Pam,

I wish we had not bought our place three years ago. It is so much work and lots of things come up that we have to talk about -- liability insurance, preparation for hurricanes, taxes, rules of the homeowners association, big and small maintenance, neighbors who have lived here for decades it seems, . .
I only moved here because hubby absolutely insisted on it.
I would like to move out of here into a rental.

~~~I am not trying to be annoying. Every time I see your posts, I try to calculate how fast we could sell this place in order to get a rental.
Thanks Donna!
Yeah that's what scares me Mari, that it's always going to be SOMETHING coming up sucking us dry of cash and savings you know? But Jack is sick of renting and wants this really badly, so we're moving in that direction. You bring up some really good points though, all things I have brought up with him and that we'd have to deal with, not counting what happens if the roof leaks or the AC goes...You know? Now I can just call the landlord, and then wait for them to fix it....
Well I got my new holo polishes and put on the pretty pink one, hope you like the pics!
So no news on the home loan front. We have to wait until mid May before we can go in and prepare to start the loan proceedings. I hope that things go well with it, yesterday Jackie ripped up a pair of shorts, they had to have a minor hole I missed when I got him dressed. He only rips things up when they have small holes...But the teacher called so that was good, she sounded VERY sick still, she was out all week last week and I have to hope Jackie doesn't get sick...*sigh*
Jackie is having a really good day today, I called, had to know how it was going after two bad reports and calls, I knew after our talk and his losing dessert and after school soda yesterday he got the point and would be better behaved today.
I hope you like this latest manicure, I did it after Photograph, the Def Leppard video from the 80's, where the red nailed Marilyn monroe model was holding the beaded like they were jewels. I wore that holo for three days but I need CHANGE! This is my Sunday Stamping manicure for the stamping group I am in that stamps on Sundays.
Thanks for looking and for the emotional support everyone, you're great!
