Unhappy New..... daily migraines, ?Occipital Neuralgia

I have had daily headaches since December 26th 2005, no reason for it. After several months of CTs, MRIs - and lots of medicines.... no relief!!! Recently I have had several C3 injections, with a right C2 injection this past Thursday. I have another scheduled for this coming Thursday. Dr. Hamza is talking about doing a Cervical Spine Stimulator..... can anyone give me more information on this?? Any help is appreicated

I have never had a stimulator, but I do have tons of headaches. I just wanted to jump in and hug you.

Smile Hi ScoutMom!

Welcome to NT!

I'm so sorry about these headaches! Here's a couple forums you might check into. This is a link in the Trigeminal Neuralgia forum that talks about PENS/SCS for head and face pain. I'm not exactly sure if this is what your doctor is referring to, but it is very interesting reading:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread124048.html

Also, here is the Occipital Neuralgia Forum:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fo...ysprune=&f=105

There are so many new technologies coming out, which gives us hope that something around the corner may well just work for us.
Please hang in there. You'll meet some very supportive and understanding people here at NT.

Just holler if you have any questions or need help finding your way around!

Caring,
Rae
