I felt badly that I didn't even know this.

The link for me comes up as Grace Cossington Smith's 120th Birthday.

I did watch a great show on the tellie today though which involved Earth just a little bit. Was called "Wonders of the Universe - Episode 3 - Falling". I fell in love with this Professor called Brian Cox who smiled ever so nicely every time he mentioned Gravity.

The episode is there for 13 days. It's really worth watching if anyone gets time.

Dear Lara,

Oh gosh, you had a national "observance" coincide! I hate when that happens - i've browsed Google's commemorative logos, and discovered that there are several that occur on the same date... they detect location and give the most "applicable" which doesn't always correspond to my personal preference!

I too get a localized link in that the search terms are not in English, but at least this time i'm getting the Earth Day logo... lol. Today's doodle's aren't in the Google doodle store yet... they should be tomorrow since i saw some for the 21st in there. Once it is added, you'll be able to see it here:
