i would like to express

with no expectation

had a bowl of dry

I will add your brother in law to my prayers too. I had no health insurance either Eva, that is why I am in terrible situation also. Lost all two generations saved for because I got sick. I know how devistating to a family this can be. I pray for a miracle for both our families. ginnie

The Lord is so gracious to give us respites of joy during our difficult trials. Congrats. on your grandson and may he bring you joy that helps you focus on him rather than the pain and trials with which you struggle.

We had to bury one of our two dogs on Easter Sunday which was very sad, but I have to say this new pup, is putting smiles on my face all day long. It seems the Lord always finds a way to insert some joy or encouragement into our lives if we only but look for it. It's those small moments that make me love my Lord even more!

A sixty-eight year old friend who needs a job opportunity because retirement savings are not enough, and God showed one to me for her,

A baby Grandson who will be born with his papa in country because he does not have to go now, and is going to stand for promotion boards next week,

Prayers which are sent answers of a resounding YES! Ginnie may be able to have the help she has needed,

Getting to have Bible study with my 92 year old buddy, Ray, over blueberry muffins and coffee in the morning,

Knowing we may pray for Eva and all who need it as though standing before the painting in Ger's home, at peace, knowing God listens, and cares,

For sons who brought dinner to me in bed this evening because I was not feeling well enough to get to the dining room.

For a daughter who was worried when she could not get me on the phone because I was talking to my wife, son, and DIL about our forthcoming grandson,

For Jesus, who holds all of us close to Him because He loves us so,

As you know some of the Senate and their meetings are on TV here. One of our senators was talking about the island of Guam. Very seriously he said he was worried that an increase of population was going to hurt Guam. The General responded that things are in order, the senator said he thought the island would "tip over" . I have this whole conversation on my PC. I was so startled at how dumb he was I couldn't laugh. It was beyond stupidity! This is who we have running our country? What does that say about who we have in charge? OMG, dear Lord help us!

I am a Navy brat, as dad served 20yrs. I've lived in many different places including Japan.....
GUAM is where I was 'Conceived'!

Hi Rrea, My son did the first gulf war. His ship was the rescue ship for the archille laro (spelling) where that one passenger was killed. He served four years faithfully, my other boy, an adoption of the heart is in for life as a Navy man. I am proud. I am a navy mom! ginnie

Rae...... you have literally been all over the world, now haven't you. At least it is safe to say you could run for president as you were even conceived on US soil. May I be your campaign manager?
