It is interesting. In elementary school, when the great johnson/nixon debate was raging, as war occurred in Vietnam [my uncles fought there under the strangest rules of engagement] three of us in my class put on a debate series, seems odd for 6th graders, but, I was playing the role of Walter Cronkite, the debate moderator, as two other students played each of the hopefuls. The arguments were studiously advanced, and we were such a splash, we went all over the school district playing our roles for other students. It was energizing. It was exciting. Wow.
Then..... I grow up. Young republican President in college all years. Class President all years. Delving into the stuff of what makes organizations tick, how to advance decent agendas........ then....
More years, souring as candidates perfect the anti-art of slinging whatever foulness some pundit might dig up about the opposition while not TRULY presenting reality to the electorate. Desirous of definite CHANGE, away from politicians who serve one term and collect full pay pension for the rest of their lives, using health care of a governmental variety not similar to Obamacare, not tasting of Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security..... as they DARE to preach to US, the electorate, we have misbehaved in handling OUR credit, unwisely counted on Social Security as some sort of entitlement [oh, and that was never the FDR design. We pay into a trust, it builds, it provides for those in need or retired- NOT a piggy bank to invade for porkbarrel legislation to be replaced by I O Us].
Kennedy should have retired after two terms. Aristocracy was a concept overthrown by one of the French revolutions as we work VERY hard to re-create the same model HERE. BAH!!
Give me liberty, or give me death. Not an unfair burden of taxation to be carried by us and future generations for ill conceived fighting of World War II over, and over, and now over again, NOT supposed advancement in healthcare through legislation which fairly reduces this country to its second step toward socialism [Docs have told me under the system, of which I have read every page, we will hardly ever see a Doc again..... just PAs unless surgery is required]. Then some idiot purportedly spouts about an island which might overturn due to the weight of humanity???? Please, Alffe.
I feel all must go by way of exercise of the vote through an electorate which finally matures into realization Red and Blue stirred together makes PURPLE> Rout the system all, limit ALLLLLLLLL terms, not just the president. Remove the aristocracy through exercise of the vote. Restore America to Americans, the media be cast into %#$@ fire.
THAT, is how I feel......
do we want our country back?
Get rid of the Red and Blue, run up the White, end all warfare, rebuild a mighty, Productive, and NOT LAZY America which PRODUCES something other than Services,
eliminate cardboard sign holding..... many of us have achieved JOBS by volunteering to work for free to demonstrate our value to employers. THIS PROVES VALUE to an employer.
Promote ingenuity,
Come alongside the common people and aid them in working through stuggles rather than merely throwing money at them,
Be neighborly, because in doing so, relatinoships are built which season society now HOOKed to media and electronically shutting the door on society upon arrival home day after day after day,
Do what we do HERE, reach out and help someone, for through such JOY will be experienced by both the recipient and the giver,
