Looking forward to Cinco de Maya celebration in the park today...great food and darling children dressed in shiny black shoes and pretty dresses.

Later going up to Vickers to see "We Need to Talk About Kevin". Looks chilling!

Still looking for the promised sun to come out..at least it isn't raining!
And the big moon won't make it's appearance here until 11:30 tonight...I'll never be able to stay up that late.

So sorry I've been away for been so busy taking care of my Olhipie, my Mom and a little for me.

Today I go visit my surgeon for my six month check...I can't believe its been that long. I do have some pain that can become pretty bad at times and some numbness in my pelvic area. I had a good fall afew days ago...hope all is well.

Well, the doc visit went well! Pelvic pain due to all the fusion I have going on all through my lumbar. The new fusion has bone growth of about one year post surgery. I do grow bone fast!!

Today, well just trying to catch up on the cleaning...the never ending story. Sure is pretty outside...might just get the Olhipie to get in his fancy new power-chair and take me for a walk.

Rebecca and I will be driving to Florida tomorrow. She is staying there for the summer for mission work in Panama City. I'll be flying back home on Saturday.... looking forward to some quality time with my amazing daughter in the car

oh, that's wonderful news Goofy... and how exciting for Rebecca! You must be so proud! I hope that your drive home is peaceful... if you see butterflies on the side of the road, know that your angels are with you!

I've got a day off today and am still collecting pine cones - they are dropping like crazy this year so I've decided to cover my garden with them. Its a small patio garden that is very shaded by different types of greenery - bamboo, holly, and hostas and a few others that pop up every year .... I'm still able to add pops of colour which I'll likely do this coming weekend. La la la... I just do what I feels like doin'! Might grow some container vegetables for the fun of it, too.

Oh oh oh... and as soon as I start making a list in my head of other things to do... I do nothing...

Got the kid to Florida. I stayed Friday night with the girls she is going to be rooming with... LOLOL i forgot what it was like to be young single and not afraid to act silly. I laughed so hard. These girls were quoting scriptures from the Bible in different voices. LOLOL then they recorded it on their telephone and sent it out to people. LOLOL ANYWAY it was fun and i'm excited for Rebecca. She is going to have a great summer....

For me today was a day to brag about

...... took myself to hospital in the city, had MRI and neurosurgeon said my brain is remarkably healed, in great shape ... lol lol .... Can YOU brag like that?
Neuro said I was remarkable for what I've done.
And I think it's remarkable to keep walking.
