Mouth PAIN!

Default Mouth PAIN!

Hi, I have had terrible mouth pain for 6 yrs. It is on the roof of my mouth, behind my 2 front teeth. Anyone?

Hi Cindy Welcome to Neuro talk.
What type of pain ? I have T.N. my pain is a burning electrical sort in lower right side of mouth, cheek and lip. I hope these links will help...

Hi Cindy,

Six years is a long time to have pain in that one area. Here are some questions that could help sort this out....

Do you wear an upper partial denture?
Do you have crowns or a bridge on your front teeth?
Are those teeth root canaled?
Have you had any type of periodontal surgery in that area of your mouth?

Are you a smoker? I ask that because people who smoke often have a chronic sore spot, discoloration or swelling behind their upper front teeth that can extend onto their palate.
