Default Can lifting weights put too much stress on the shunt?

I'm wondering that, since the tube goes down the back of my head, wraps around the side of my neck and down the front of my chest, if it is safe for me to do bench press. Any ideas? Will the possible growth, expansion of my chest muscles tug on the tube in an undesirable way?
