Thumbs Up Nice surprise of the squash variety!

Last year I planted acorn squash seeds from a squash I bought at the store and ate. I didn't really keep up with caring for the plants that grew. Two or 3 squash were produced but never got bigger than the palm of my hand. I let the plants go. My BF asked if they would come up again next year and I said I didn't think so.

I was wrong!

One plant is coming up by itself. I guess the tiny veggies last year left seeds behind, and the extremely mild winter allowed them to germinate. I plan to take better care of it this year!
