woke not feeling great. I think i did too many things yesterday. I woke with extremely dry eyes, which is triggering visual migraines. I took meds last night which make me feel hung over and wrung out. its going to be a slow day here.

Well it is time to retire my old dell desk top computer. I have had it for seven years and it is getting really slow and occasionally crashing. I am feeling a bit of separation anxiety. A friend is coming over in a little while to help me set up the Toshiba lap top I purchased. I laso got a wireless mouse because I can not get used to touch pads. I am hoping to still have internet access. Mediacom is coming on Monday to install wireless, but I think I can plug the land line cable into the lab top. If not, I will not have access for a few days. I am also hoping I can still use my old Dell printer. If not, I guess I will purchase a cheap one at Wal mart.

It drives me crazy that there are no instructions with the computer beyond one page of set up instructions. I want to learn how to use the camera and skype with my niece, I guess I will eventually figure everything out. I suppose I can get more detailed information on line

I am around but don't read as much as I used to. It is a combination of things. I'm tired, I'm busy with kids, work has gotten overwhelming, I've had progression or relapse issues (no one can decide which), I've also had internet problems at home, so I haven't been using my computer at home much.

This weekend, I am going away with four ladies from church who are part of a tight knit church breakfast club that has been meeting for years. I think I've been going for at least 10 or 12 years. We call ourselves the "church ladies". I can't wait to get away from town, inlaws, kids, husband, the house, etc. The house is on a lake in upstate New York with no TV and no internet. It will be such a nice break from the hectic pace here.

Have a good time, Holly. It sounds glorious. I hope you come back home.....I know it'll be tempting to just stay there!

We're supposed to have beautiful weather this weekend. Low 80's and very low humidity.

I did housework yesterday......in spurts! I'd clean the kitchen counters, then rest. Ran the swiffer vacuum, then rested. Cleaned my bathroom, then rested. Today I need to vacuum the bedrooms. I'm going to try not to have the housekeeper come this month. Yes, it's nice to have it all done at one time but I could sure use the $$ I pay her in my bank account. I guess a less than immaculate house is one of the compromises we face. That's okay.....I'm just thrilled and thankful I can still do those chores. I'll have to have her come in to deep clean the bathrooms and kitchen but not very often.

Yesterday my phone rang the entire time I was lying down and trying to at least get a 30 minute nap. I finally gave up and got up....and the phone stopped ringing!! My youngest son called me this morning at 7:45 AM.....of course I thought something was wrong! He was on his way home from a job interview and was passing the exit to my subdivision and wanted to stop. Of course I said come on over! We had coffee together and he told me about this interview he was on. Sounded really good and then, while we were talking, the owner called him back and wants him to come back on Tuesday morning and meet the sales manager. He was so excited.

Time to have another cup of coffee and watch TPIR. I've already had my shower and I'm ready for a break! Everyone have a great day!
