Bleeding during sex

I am 68 years old and I frequently bleed durung and aftef sex. Very embarrassing. Where is it coming from and why?

I really think you should see a doctor. The causes could be
correctable, or very serious and need intervention ASAP.

Possibilities are minor vagina tearing, bleeding from fibroids, or cancer.

My internist asks me this question, every visit. So I believe it is
a serious sign for you.

Hi Micki I am new to this site as well , I live in the UK, a few years ago I met a new partner after 9 years being on my own and after the first sexual situation I was in extreme pain and bleeding, it sounds as if you have a regular partner and still bleeding frequently, you need to see a doctor ASAP I saw my GP after my first encounter who immediately made an appointment for me to see a gyno.
My story is I had an internal US and an examination of my cervix(no pain whatsoever) which all came back clear. I am lucky that there was nothing un towards. I went for my regular smear test 6 months ago and I got a call back with minor changes,I have now had the said smear and awaiting the results.
You need to see your GP ASAP you are a bit older than me I am 57 so please make an appiontment tomorrow. Take Care Marie xx

I am surprised no one has asked for more info. Perhaps at her age, her partner is a bit rough with her?

Is that a possiblity?
