my dear friends

my gratitude
GOD thank you for another day

dear God
as you are the only
one to let things happen
know what is on my cross
i would love it if my son
got off the pity pot and
stop avoiding me and do
the right thing give me
back the monies i lent
a huge mistake on my part
four thousand and change
i have had enough pain in
my raising them alone
told them they owe me nothing
but now an adult and in a tough place
not stable by his wrong doings
in trying to help him i hurt myself
the words that rolled off his tongue
shameful
lending him money that wasn't
mine to to give but was promised it back
in addition a leather couch he
wanted to purchase via my credit card
hasn't made a payment in 5th month coming up
blessed i am to be a mother and grandmother
money means nothing to me
this is my point
he needed help
i helped
i helped to get my self into a jam
my SSD pays my obligations
leaving us corissa and myself
nothing in the end
i will apply now for food stamps
as i cannot handle the stress
of others who affect me directly
bless us
hear my prays
i rescheduled with the other test
allow myself to heal
surgery is tomorrow
nervous
wish it were over already
i have no desire to
make a move
the dynamics of my family
one word
lie

OH
when will i learn to say no
help me let this go

GOD I TRUST YOU

i am to sad to write

blessings for all

someone who cares

Eva..
Praying with God watching over you; Mother Mary holding your hand tightly, you will get thru this surgery with as little stress as possible.

We too often become "enablers" to those we love. We hope by helping; this will somehow make things different for them. Unfortunately, sounds like things are now even more difficult for you and your daughter. Your Faith in the "Almighty" has been your strength. You are a surviver and will overcome what seems impossible.

Caring and sharing your "beautiful faith",
Jesus I Trust In You

Heart More Blessed

Dear Eva, our friend
how can this all be? But then we depend
upon God's daily bread.
I pray for your needs, that they always be met
and with hope and a prayer sent
may thy son soon repent
from taking advantage against your life with debt
may he know fam'ly needs must surely be met
and put away greed
for such is deceiver seed
then learn from his mama's gifts
the blessings of giving and of thrift.
'Tis hard in these times
to put money aside
for needs unaware
until suddenly there.
So I pray God convict son
and give him the lesson
of taking his cloak
to share with you and your home
because the blessing of giving
is far more the good thing
than to take from those nearby
who have hard times to get by.

Your needs we do pray for
as you two live life and much more
Corissa in dance dress
so pretty we must guess
and together you break bread
we pray always needs be met.
Then some more for good times come
when you may go to have fun
as a daughter and mama
who are blessed to be on a
vacation where streams flow
and the green grass that God knows
as restful for His children
whose lives He doth care and,
when times for some laughter
of belly and joys splattered
as raindrops on green things
bring forth blossoms and sweetnings
the eye's full delight
what a blessing in sight.

For thy body and spirit
we pray and God hears it
from lands which are near
and far away from here.
We know God is filled full of Love for His children
among whom are you then
we pray that divine grace
be shown forth as healing in your face
that your pain be taken away plus
you feel good and live thus
and grace filled that you be
ever beautiful as He sees.

Praying blessings bountiful upon you and your family Eva,

You inspire others as well. We all have our moments when things seem to be overwhelming. We know God is in charge and we will "love" one another" as he asked.

Heart Blessed Be

Blessed be the tie that binds,
our hearts in Godly love,
we must be unto
our Lord pleasing through
the Love washing down from above.

Yeah, I know I borrowed an old tune, revised the lyric line a bit, because I want all of us to realize our Lord is keenly hoping we will set aside our difficulties so we may each come to know our family is one. War and strife, pillaging and taking, lack of trust and hate, terror generated fear have no part no reason to be within this world. May all who have felt the wrong use of another's hand, the pain of loss at the decision of someone else, or the knowledge of internal pain due to causes beyond the touch of humanity at all hold fast to the hand of our Lord as with BLESSINGS we are showered.

Blessings come. Inexplicably blessings fall to rest upon us, and in human terms we cannot necessarily explain them and yet they are before our very eyes. How do you explain them? Each to your own way, right? I ascribe them to the Lord.

The beautiful sunset. The smile of our grandchild and the wonderful baby giggling sounds he makes. The fact of having something..... enough to eat this day. Yeah, those are blessings. No, I cannot right now run a race. Cannot dance the swing with my wife..... or the waltz. But we discovered I could do a passable Foxtrot step. Life can be filled with wonderful different things, such as realizing Eva is "someone who cares" while innumberable others can also claim those words. Rrae and others can make us laugh until we think our belly will fall off [a new weight reduction plan]. Gerry, Ginne, Sandy, and so many others are right there, RIGHT THERE! to bring words of comfort in hard unbearable times. We have blessings.

One of mine, my wife, is downtown enjoying Buffalo Bill days because I am not sufficiently up to snuff to go along. She is my blessing, and she needs space to enjoy even as she closes that space laying her head on my chest last evening knowing not what else to do to help me feel any better.

God blesses me each and every day. All I need do is look around the tiniest bit.

One who cares,
Prayin,

Dear Mark.....what you said is so, so true. No matter what happens in our lives, there is always something to be grateful for. And usually there are many, many somethings to be grateful for, thankful for, and ecstatic about, if we will only look around for a brief moment. God is good, all the time. Blessings abound, yet so much of the time we are oblivious to them.

Yesterday, as I walked across the street to get the mail (thank you, Lord, that I can walk that far!), there was a doe and her little fawn resting in my front yard. The baby was so cute, with her spotted coat and curious, big brown eyes. When I returned, they both took off, the doe doing a kind of quick-walk, with the little fawn making tracks with big hops about three feet in the air, as they quickly disappeared! Amazing. Wish I'd had my camera in hand! God's wonders are all around, if we only open up our eyes and hearts to see them.

With a Grateful Heart,
Jan

Smile And JavaJan..... Java, Java, Java!

Isn't it wonderful the wondrous digital camera we carry around everywhere our functioning eyes go??? Eyes, brain, matched with ears to hear and we can take video all we want to replay and replay for the rest of the time on this plane.

Yes, we have experienced dear born in our backyard over the years, twins sometimes, too!! How lovely to see.

Then the blessings of watching bunnies play as they would jump straight in the air like Whacka Mole as we would sit on our deck enjoying dinner.

Blessings Beautiful,
