boy you are courageous! I might try to write down some reasons why she is not a good match for me but i am afraid they will all be insulting.....oh i just thought of one....that i need in depth therapy rather than supportive therapy and need a therapist who knows what resources are out there. there.
i found out that the woman who handles the leases is feeling much better and should be back at work by next week. I hope that is true.
i also had energy on the short walk today. i slept with the air conditioner on even though i didn't need it. I also am thinking that maybe i will use a dentist in my area rather than going downtown to nyu dental clinic. there is a dentist a few blocks away who has gotten good reviews and i don't think it would cost more than a 1000 dollars more. Notice i can't seem to focus on one problem at a time. I am happy that i had energy on the walk.
did you sleep last night?

Hi,
Yes, I slept today until 6:00 pm even though we had roofers pounding away on the roof.

I occurred to me that you do not need to stay for the whole therapy session. You could arrange it so that after you say that the two of you are not a good fit, you leave . . . maybe half way through. You could tell her that it is very stressful to be in therapy that is not working for you and you would rather have no therapy.
That way you do her a favor and not use up all her time.
On the other hand, once you have told her that you are choosing "No Therapy" she might turn out to be interesting to talk to. She might open up and be different (in a good way).

I don't know what is going to happen on friday. i hate confrontation. i will start off with i guess this is our last session. and see where it goes from there. I will tell her i get a lot of support. I went and got the mail today. I haven't done that in months. Maria gets it for me. I didn't freak. I didn't get what i was looking for, a letter from access a ride. oh well. I did get a letter from new york finance. I got scared. but it was for the reduced rent. I am supposed to send in the signed rent and tell them how much i made last year to have my rent frozen. I don't know when the woman will return to the office and i find out if they got my lease. It is a still a huge source of anxiety although i am sure I shouldn't worry. I was pleased that i got the mail by myself. I have a mail phobia but it seems to have signficantly lowered.

Sending you some hugs. Its so hard to handle change. But for it
to be even different than you thought.

Bobby,

Two more sessions left with that person? One earlier today (yesterday) and TWO more?!! Sigh. I read that in China rich people convicted of crimes, pay people to go to jail for them. Maybe it would be more than appropriate to convince someone to show up for the sessions for you --- even if they do not look like you. It sure would confuse her. I am sure she would not get the joke, . . but that is why it might be funny.

Oh.
Bring something smelly to eat so she kicks you out of the office.
Lots and lots and lots of hugs.

M
