Default I'm THANKFUL for.....
  1. Family... it's been interesting how they have come out of the woodwork offering any kind of help we might need. This is from a lot of family I haven't talked to in years.
  2. I am THANKFUL to the surgeon that was able to remove all of the cancerous tumor from my mom.
  3. I am THANKFUL for ALL of you for being there for me & for each other!!!!
  4. I am THANKFUL for my Dad who has sat tirelessly with my mom from sun up to well after sundown.
  5. I am THANKFUL for dragonflies..... I never saw one around me until my niece passed, now it seems I see one when I am outside and I am down or just need a friend.

I am thankful that the dragonfly chose me.... I often get thunked in the head by one when I am feeling down while sitting out on our deck....mind you...there is no water around where I live.

I AM MOSTLY THANKFUL TODAY THAT MY MOM IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!

I am thankful that my father asked me many years ago to hide his gun (that his father had killed himself with in 1976). I got to take care of him until he died peacefully in his sleep rather than by his own hand after a woman he was seeing dumped him.

I'm very thankful that I live within half a block of all the amenities I could ever need...without a car, I'm learning the transit system and how much I can carry when I go shopping. I always use a back pack but may have to buy one of those "old lady carts"....

I'm very thankful for our swimming pool in this heat! and all the friends I've met there. We celebrate our birthdays by going out to dinner at the beach for fish 'n chips or the greek restaurant when it rains!

I'm so happy that your Mom is home, Abbie!! That is wonderful news!
