Angry Shoulder Atrophy after Cervical Fusion

I had a cervical fusion C5/C6 about 2yrs ago and from the min. I opened my eyes in the recovery room till this day I have had horrible right side neck, shoulder, upper chest, and arm pain. When I was 2 months Post-OP my Doctor also the surgeon said I had chronic pain and nothing else was wrong with me. I'm posting my picture at the below link and you will see what I'm talking about when I say I have atrophy. How could my doctor do this and just ignore me and why? I have showed him my shoulder numerous times and he brushes it off like its no big deal, I just don't get it. If any of you more experienced people out there can look at my shoulder maybe you can give me at least an idea of what causes this.

*edit*

Thank you.
JP

It seems like some MDs just don't care to learn or keep on top of new things.

Have you tried any other MDs or advanced spine PTs or expert chiropractors?

Sometimes surgeon's will take a problem like this and think you are blaming them for it and they tend to drop or run away, or brush you off.

Don't keep going to the same one - keep searching for someone that can help you & that cares.

PS. your link was non functional. A few more posts and you can add it soon.
