At first, I thought it was just one who wondered in, but noooooooo, they are moving in for the winter...NOT. PC will be here Monday morning to de mouse de house.

Any one else having mice problems or am I the only lucky one? Those little farts carry germs too and do damage to your wiring and stuff.

Default Hi Sally

I hate mice too!. We have got one better, I live on an Island and there are rats! I watch them run along the fence at night. or scurry across the roof. Heck bold enough to drink out of the bird feeder in plain daylight. So far, none in the house, but they are around. icky! Hope you get rid of the mice.
Don't think there is a way to get rid of the rodents here however. ginnie

IIIICCCK.

Get a cat. Love mine and dogs do learn to love them. Ossie the dog and Sugar the cat became best friends sand both were fully grown. Wait until the cat curls up on recliner with you, Buddy sleeping below you.

We have sticky traps. Mice can get in thru a 1/4" crack. Very hard to keep them out no matter what. Yes, they like to be moving in now that winter is coming on.

My kitties are good hunters and keep the vermin away.

I don't like using pesticides for mice. Animals in the area can die or get very sick from eating vermin with it in their system. Or they can die in your walls and cause problems.

Hope you get the problem under control safely, Sally. It is an eeky situation!

Used to stick fine steel wool in cracks at old house (Mice can't chew thru) using a ruler. Had mice so bad brother gave me a jar (is neat) that says "Mouse Turds". I use it next to stove to hold wooden spoons, spatulas and assorted stove stuff.

Here, found traps but no mice. I have cats. LOVE them. 3 cats, 2 dogs. Thank goodness tarantula died (did not LOVE him/her).

Once mice gone, snakes stayed away as they had nothing to eat. Hey, I live next to a county forest.

You know how weird I am? Miss the snakes (and toads, but that's another story). Balance of nature, circle of life and all that

Have steel wool in some cracks, etc. Have also tried to seal any cracks we see on the outside. But the buggers still come in. Used to have a cat and a dog as well. Great mouser the cat was. I need another one.

We don't have that many mice that come in anyway. Just depends on the year it seems but we have them under control. Have used mouse poison as well and still do in the basement and upstairs. It's under cover so nothing else gets it. And our cat never ate any mice that were poisoned if he happened to find one. Also we have had them die in the wall a time or two. They do stink. But at least they are dead and gone.
