Default The Red Tulip

What do people think of the red tulip sign for Parkinson's? Do people actually wear red tulips to show support for the cause? Any thoughts from anyone here about a better cause icon? Maybe a Fox? Although I suppose it is hard to wear. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.

The red tulip is traditionally the symbol for PD. A local young onset form Washington State designed one that we hope becomes the national symbol.

thanks Jean! I am an advertising student (based in New Zealand) looking at how I can get more awareness around Parkinson's. So am trying my best to understand more about it, key insights, views, day in the life experiences etc, so that I can come up with the most creative and effective campaign. If you (or anyone else) have any thoughts on what resources would be most useful....that would be awesome. Many thanks!!!!
