Default Hurricane Sandy / Frankenstorm

I know we have alot of members on the East Coast....specifically in the Northeast states......so please, everyone be careful and take this time to reinforce whatever provisions you've taken for the storm. Make sure you have plenty of pet food, bottled water, prescription meds and last but certainly not least.....toilet paper!! Never fun to run out of that even in the best of conditions.

I know many will lose power so please just stay safe and know that your friends here at NeuroTalk are praying for you.

So what happens when a hurricane runs into a cold front???

Hey - no kidding about the toilet paper. And keep it up high. ALL our toilet paper was destroyed by the surge waters during hurricane andrew.

Default hurricane/cold front

^*&*$& when a cold front meets a hurricane, it is not so good. I live on a barrier Island. The folks on the East coast need to "watch" closely!!!! have water etc, just like the post said before me. My Aunt lives on Buzzards bay, 93 years old and needs to evac. She is one block from the bay. I called, of course. Take care all of you out there.....ginnie

Sometime those nasty Hurricanes blow inward, all the way to Ohio, too. I'm praying it makes a sudden turn to the east and out to sea.

Keep safe everyone and report in what's happening, if and when you can. Prayers for us all.

I live in Central MA and will report what's going on - unless we lose electricity. Thanks for the best wishes Kitty, and I'll get my husband on the toilet paper situation first thing in the a.m. lol! Sally, hope it doesn't reach OH, but go to a shelter or with family if it's headed your way. STAY SAFE EVERYONE. Nora

Kitty,
We won't get the Hurricane totally in Maryland, but wind, rain and weather. Toilet paper! Yes. Went to top of list.

I do. It's very nice and calm here today. A little cloudy but no rain is expected. Highs in the low 60's. The outside kitties are loving it!

Looks like it's not coming to Ohio. Sure is moving slow. It's going to stick around for awhile.

Thanks for reporting in Kelly, glad you are not seeing the worse of it.
