Frown So Sad

It seems my newest and so far the best doc has nothing in mind but throwing more meds at me.....I have had no relief from the sadness, and I worry about another medication reaction, have had a seratonin crisis(sp) Just cannot shake the sad.......
Tired of trying to shake said sad
Maybe just sick and tired of the sad
Well off to try to sleep before the next day of work

Unfortunately so many of the meds are downers to some. Is there something you can think about that might make you smile....even for a short time. If I knew how to do a smiley, I would do one for you.

pooh,
Struggling with depression is awful. Its like being in a suspended state of fresh grief. Is your Dr. a psychiatrist, or your family Dr.? These days there are many M.D.s doling out antidepressants.

Depending on why you are depressed, the combination of traditional talk therapy and some of the newer medications may help. I understand your not wanting to take any medications. When they are advertised, they all come with the warning that they may cause thoughts of suicide. Whether they list that because they feel its common enough to mention, or there is a small percentage of people with this reaction and they need to give this warning per FDA, I don't know.

If you have any thoughts of self harm, please call someone ASAP. There really are good things in life and potential in you. That may be difficult for you to see right now, but as long as you are on this earth, its not too late to get treatment.
