Looking at the big picture I'm encouraged by the paradox the Obama campaign presents...one of greater commitment asking individuals to take greater responsibility for their role in actively contributing to their own well being as well as their communitys' while simultaneously providing support in a social context. Clearly he recognizes where profit can benefit or create an environment of abuse of power in matters of health care. This paradigm shifting may have profoundly positive impact for those marginalized by a system that has run its course...

I think it is because we don't want to step on toes. Politics is touchy, and so are quite a few people about that.
I think I can add this however, we need congress and the house to work together. In fact all Americans need to work together to solve this counties problems. ginnie

Wow, thanks Soccertese, I agree with Laura. Very impressive list, very well expressed. I think he's done a good job, but somehow hasn't effectively publicized his accomplishments as well as your list presents them. Did you compile it yourself (I'm assuming you did), or if not is there a link to a source?
