Default Does anyone have this experience?

My one foot feels as if I am walking on golf balls -- with lots of tingling going up my foot and ankle.

Hi, and welcome Collie07

No, I have not had that experience.

I don't know what it could be.

Did you have a back injury?

Fall?

Auto accident?

Comp injury?

Diabetes?

Drugs?

There are so many causes for tingling, it would be hard to discern without more information.

Have you been thoroughly examined by doctors?

Any test results?

There will be other that will come along and have better answer for you.

If you can provide us with a little more information, someone here will be better able to help.

Knowledge and understanding is half the battle.

Take care. Keep us posted, ok?

I've had lots of neurological testing with nothing definitive. I've just seen a rheumatologist who thinks it may be due to vasculitis. I've just had an ABI that showed narrowing of blood vessels and reduced circulation, likely due to the inflammatory vasculitis issue.
I had excellent health before this issue -- no risk factors for anything vascular at all. It's not being able to walk on my foot, not being able to wear a shoe -- it brings your life to a standstill.

Smile Hello Collie!

WELCOME to NT!

Just wanted to send out a welcome hug
You've found such a wonderful place of support and understanding.
Make yourself right at home. This is a very down-to-earth, easy-going atmosphere, so feel free to post anywhere you may feel inclined. I see you've been finding your way to some very good forums, such as the Peripheral Neuropathy - it is loaded with lots of info. PN carries a very wide array of symptoms.

I hope you will begin to get some answers VERY soon.
It's great to have you!

Caring,
Rae

Hello!

Only because I'm guessing and totally uninformed regarding what your going through, but aren't there Lymphnodes (sorry for my spelling lol) everywhere in the body?

Golf balls? wow that's scary, that's my only guess, I usually don't post a reply if I am uninformed on the matter, but if I could help with a harmless guess that's ok as well. lol!

Swollen Lymphnodes? I hope it's not Vasculitis, and I hope whatever it is that you conquer it.

All the very best to you!

Question Walking on golf balls

Don't know if this may apply to you, not knowing where the sensation of walking on golf balls is.

I had the experience of feeling like I was walking on a stone under the ball of the foot - but also there was a lot of pain and I knew it originated due to grinding sensation in the bone area under 2nd toe while playing tennis.

Doc visits:
Xray ruled out fracture
MRI rules out neuroma
Final dx was predisclocation syndrome - the bone in the base of the toe on the pad of the ball of the foot was subluxating - dropping toward the ground.

Unfortunately for me, conservative treatment with ortho shoes and ultrasound did not work and I had a "hammer toe" surgery to "fix" it. I ended up with crps.

But - that is me - not you. How long have you had this, and has anyone evaluated it for you? Where is the sensation and is there pain with it?

Hoping you can get evaluated and treated. Not being able to walk is definitely a big show stopper.

Love,
Jenny
