Thanksgiving Weekend Plans?

Do you have Thanksgiving Plans that you want to share?

we are going to a pot luck but don't know what to bring just yet...they will tell us. last year I brought green bean casserole that I cooked all day in the crock pot and had mush...sigh ended up adding 5 cans of green beans at the last minute and fresh crispy onions and it turned out great!
they are serving an organic turkey that they will brine over night.
very good food last year. makes me hungry thinking about it.

Well, we the boys and hubby and I are all getting together at
Devin's house.

Sabrina and I went Thanksgiving shopping yesterday. And we will
help do some of the cooking this year.

So its a combined effort. I am definately making green bean casserole,
and corn casserole. Still have to buy desserts.

And I guess we may need another ham. Seems my son, says the one
he is getting from work probably wont be big enough.

So its part of life. A turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, (yams), green bean
casserole, corn casserole, those special eggs, pies, cake, rolls,

Pop, and tea for sure.

And other things. Not sure what else we bought.

Hubby and are on doing what we would normally do on a day when we have off from work --- stay home and hang out. I am hoping that my anxiety clears off soon.

Our homeschool group is having a Thanksgiving potluck Wed night & then on Thursday my family is getting together at my aunt's house. I'm bringing green bean casserole w/the fried onions on top & a pumpkin pie to both get togethers.

Last year I did the crazy day after Thanksgiving shopping with my aunt but I'm not up for that this year. Maybe we'll put up the Christmas tree next Saturday. I'm in denial at how close Christmas is.
