As I have aged I have had increased back and leg pain. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with this drug, either positive or negative. I have been on 300 at10am, 300 at 4pm, and 600 at 10pm for a few weeks. I have so far gotten moderate relief. Thank you.
Hello. I just joined today. As a physician, but also one who has peripheral neuropathy myself, I can say that gabapentin is worth a try in your treatment. It rarely, in my experience, works completely, but can complement the effects of other medications and therapies. Be patient with this drug. I suspect you will likely need to increase the daily dosage over time, but that, of course, is an individual treatment issue. You are off to a good start.
