Dear Doydie (or shall I say 'Doodie')

I think you might benefit from some healthy oil like flax, or ground flax seeds. A lot of times when someone is trying to diet, they get kind of "dried out" and a tablespoon of flax every day can make a huge difference.

Well all has 'opened up' on it's own but the scale sure didn't show any difference. You would think that several days poop should weigh something

I didn't lose any weight this week either, but didn't gain any..

I thought I was going to gain this week because of timing buuut....

I'm 189, down one pound from last week with 59 more to go!

Sounds like everyone is doing well--congratulations on all the weight losses this week!

I'm going to wait until next week to get back on track, because our beloved Manx cat, Tabitha, died this week. We took her to the vet's on Tuesday as she lay dying in the last stages of renal failure, and she was gently put to sleep, with Tim and I holding her in our arms.

We've been assist feeding her for months; she was diagnosed with renal failure more than two years ago and we have kept her alive and fairly comfortable since then, with Tim giving her subcutaneous infusions every day. She finally got to where her little body couldn't fight any longer and started shutting down.

It has been one of the worst weeks of our lives--she was a daughter to me and Tim. We loved her so...

Her ashes will be returned to us in a wooden memorial box with her photo next week.

Thanks to all of you who have been so kind and supportive the last couple of weeks...your words have helped.

Stay strong everybody, and I'll get back on my weight loss regimen next week!

Awww Keeley, so sorry for the loss of your little kittycat..

well I am still 214. No loss, only despair. I am so disgusted with myself. I am doing all the things I know to do. I haven't been able to walk any more than 1/3 mile since last Saturday. I just look in the mirror and see this fat woman. And if I take my clothes off, or even raise my pants leg I see the disgusting psoriasis.

Just hang on and don't give up! I know it's very hard! Maybe you can talk to a nutritionist or something? I know I can't afford one so I do what I can. Plateaus happen, changing something up can help break them. You could try a different exercise.
