Spent the better part of the day in meeting with a government commission to which I have been appointed to help business flourish. It was rewarding and felt good to be thus recognized once again in my profession. Even got to see some folk I know from around the state whom I have known a long long time. Yes, good, that, and a reason to acknowledge the blessing of medical success which enabled my career resumption.

So, off to Texas soon.... pens in hand and ready to write an exam. Pray for me if you will as this approaches, and I will hopefully succeed.

Feeling tired of the study, so much so, that I am falling asleep at the task. Maybe the body is trying to tell me it is off to bed...

i would have been woman
in Blue
taking the policemen test along with
all the "boys" was not something
i expected to pass taken i didn't
pick up a book and studied
and that was another dagger
for the boys
another boat missed
by choice
could not trust anyone
with my children

i would be walking as a way of being punished
in you didn't go with the flow
and yes there probably would have been butting heads
and we know i am relentless if i am 100% certain of
something i believe in even if it meant changes
standing there VEHEMENTLY IN HONESTY and fer ser
being called a ditts never to my face, that is where
my stance at all times

Had to succumb to phys therapy because my right forearm decided to act up... hurts something fierce. Actually relented and dropped a couple pain meds to manage it..... Therapy, oh that hurt even worse. Made me sob big tears on the table as the Doc was working my arm.

Gonna go for therapy again tomorrow. It is helping.

But................. gotta leave on a jet plane for that exam Sunday afternoon. I just hope and pray the pain will subside so I can effectively write the exam. That is a license important to my profession.

I was truly hoping we'd get to have a mini reunion in Ft. Worth but taking into account the distance and travel time plus my physical setbacks, The Better Half and I will be unable to make the trip.
