Hope the senior center can start again soon. I wonder if part of the
problem there is your friend is gone right now.

i think part of the problem is my friend is gone for the winter. I don't look forward to the food. I am still in the isolation mood. I have just been reading and taking walks with my neighbor and her dogs. It is coming time for me to get dentures. I am obsessing and obsessing about the whole thing and it is draining me of energy and putting incredible fear in me. I might try Bellevue which is a city hospital and which should have good prices. It would go faster than nyc dental clinic which is a teaching clinic. I am telling myself it is God's will which is making it easier. I am also embarrassed about going and showing what bad shape my teeth are in. I have to force myself to get out of bed.
Then i get ready to go to sleep early. I am sorry i haven't been responsive.
oh, my psychiatrist changed the prescription for welbutrin and put me on 100 three times a day. I don't know if it is helping a little bit more. I just got a phone call from the insurance company saying they approved the request for the brand name welbutrin. it will be good til december. i guess his office finally called. i will get it when i see him in a little less than a month

Hi Bobby, I hope that you find some really good care for your dental issues. I had the same problems. I had not been to a dentist for 10 years. I had too many surgeries and no time inbetween for dental, no money either. Found a very compassionate dentist, that erased my life long fear of dentists, got me in shape, and lets me pay as I can. Never has sent a bill. I owe about 3 grand, and I pay little by little. I now have teeth that arn't bad, and a partial. I had a RC that failed. all is well. Just make sure you really like the person you see. Trust is a huge issue, and not all dentists are equil. If you find yourself in a pickle, ask Bryanna on NT. She has more information, that can help you in any decision you make. I wish you all the best. Believe me I was actually shaking when I went to that first appt. Now I go in smiling, and eager to see her. Isn't that a switch? ginnie

i am so happy for you Ginnie. is rc a root canal. i don't know what nt is. i am going to make an appointment at bellevue. a woman at senior center said their prices are good and they are dentists and not students. nyc is so expensive. i haven't decided whenever or not i want to be sedated or not. i guess it will partially be determined by the cost. for the lowers where i have more teeth i think i want to be sedated. I think i want it to be done in two steps. I don't think i will have a choice as to dentists. I am even researching as to what denture cleanser to use.

thanks so much for putting up with me. everything except reading has been such an effort. I have no energy. I guess i am too worried and depressed.
i just came in from the walk. I plan to go out to eat tomorrow night with my neighbor. she has her last doctor's appointment for her lawsuit where she broke her wrist and hip.....what she has been through.....i thought she needed to celebrate.

i'm so sorry the depression just keeps on going... those are the worst. when is your next appointment? i hope the new psychiatrist can get creative.
