Smile Hello everyone
New to this site and wanted to come and introduce myself. I am in my LATE 40's, female, mother of one beautiful daughter, self employed, in somewhat uncomfortable 17 year marriage, live on a small hobby farm with horses, goats, dogs & cats I have suffered from several autoimmune related items for quite a while (25+) years; Little Parkinson's (left side of my body), Rheynalds, Thyroid, severe allergies to foods and chemicals, irritated bowl... to name a few I do not believe these have had anything or maybe these have with my mental health being . Anxiety, depression & PSTD mostly... Would love to come here and ask/share questions once these arrive? Thank You

Welcome to Neuro Talk. You found a good site to share. Lots of us have auto immune problems and will share with you too. Sometimes depression goes with the territory, so it is important to get the support you need. I found a lot of friends here on NT. I have several conditions going on at once too. Love the idea of living on a farm like that. If you need specific information on any of your conditions, there is a forum for each one. Even spiritual support is offered here. Can I come live with you? I have always wanted to live on a little farm. I especially would love a horse. I would love an animal of any kind but have never been allowed to have any.
Hope you are having a good day. I am 42 with one beautiful daughter as well. She is 21 now. She is the love of my life. No husband anymore.
I have found the people on this site to be incredible.

Had MVA in 2006 resulting in post concussive syndrome manifested by cognitive impairment, chronic pain/ fatigue. Chronic pain of head, neck, back, left leg.
Other problems include REM sleep behavior disorder, nocturnal frontal lobe epilepsy, chronic migraines associated with nausea/vertigo, episodes of passing out, hypoglycemia, liver dysfunction (had accidental overdose of acetaminophen in 2009) had liver and kidney failure, hernia, degenerative disc disease with compression of nerve root, PTSD, and other problems associated with functioning problems from traumatic brain injury (light, sound sensitive, easily overloaded, easily distracted, cannot focus, anxiety problems etc.)

Thank you both for such a nice welcome I have been a member of the PC chat since 2009... and have found the friendships invaluable If I have needed to scream, there has always been someone to support you Mentally feel better, but other issues keep bringing me down Again Thanks
