Avonex and impacts to Thyroid?
So, I was happy to hear on my annual labs that all the liver stuff was o.k. They did say that my Thyroid came back just on the low side. (My Neuro ddn't say anything, it was my family doctor that told me. She said that it has never been low before and I've been on Avonex for 18 months now, and she wants to look at it again in a year that they may need to take me off Avonex. Can't they just treat the thyroid? I am doing great on the Avonex and it is the drug covered under my insurance. Anyone else experienced Thyroid issues and can share the outcome?
