Ali has suffered greatly but always had the attitude of "the champ". As I said his guts and determination to.fight on are legendary. His positive attitude towards his illness is an example for all of us. And he could be quite ill, this disease doesn't kill quickly. Usually PD death occurs from loss of autonomic functions which can take years before they directly cause death. He may seem like he is on his way out according to his brother, who may have seen him on a "bad day", and reported his condition as terminal. He is still "the champ" to me, epitomizing the fight for which we must all put on our gloves and enter the ring, when our name is called by PD. cs
