I find this highly irresponsible if researchers here have not examined the very real potential for addiction. Unless this inhaled formulation controls the allocation of levodopa throughout the brain, we will still have dyskinesia and OCD behaviors not to mention the possibility of psychotic episodes. I want to trust that all of this has been worked out up front but I highly am highly doubtful. sigh.

i'm not understanding your post, are you against levodopa or just inhaling it? gets absorbed in the lungs and then into the blood, how is the end result different than pill form?

Default Delivery of medication

I assumed other people do what I do when I am coming off in a strong fashion or before "I think I should be". I just take a bit of my next dose and crumble it or bite it and crush it and let it dissolve under my tongue or rub it into my gums to speed delivery into my blood stream through the mucus membranes.
I then take the rest of my dose as usual (swallowing).
This spray into the lungs/inhaler system just seems like a fancier way of doing this, not a real game changer.

mea culpa. I deleted the message. I assumed nasal inhalation but the intake is through the mouth and into the lungs, then brain.
