Do you notice any "itchy" feeling with it also? Mine is along the hairline & my left ear.
Not itchy, I get a 'crawly' sensation though, or 'twingy' feeling at times, zaps of sharpness or sharp stabbing throbs of pain at it's worst on the left side.

I can experience some pretty severe attacks of pain (Trigeminal Neuralgia) down the left side of the head/face.

No itchiness here either. For me it may be part of a general left-sided weakness. When I'm tired my whole left side droops.

My left arm and leg and the left side of my face have a more "wasted" look than the right. Recently I developed a hollow place in my left cheek but no hollow in my right cheek.

One of my earliest symptoms--in fact, it was several years before we knew it was a symptom of something and connected it with my search for a diagnosis. One day at work I noticed that a spot that included my right upper lip, the corner of my nose, and a portion of my inner cheek about the size of a half dollar was numb. Like light novocaine. It puzzled me, but didn't really scare me.

When it continued a few (?) days, I made an appointment. By the time I got to the PCP, it was pretty much over. It lasted maybe a week, 10 days. The doctor diagnosed it as likely "a mild neuritis" and asked if I wanted to be referred to a neurologist.

I didn't. I went home and researched neuritis a little, and decided I wouldn't worry about it until/unless it happened again or grew worse, which it never did.

That's funny, because, even though my weakness is on my left side, my Bells Palsey was on the right side of my face. What can I tell ya, I'm weird.
