Default Constipation Problem Solved

After a few severe scary bouts with constipation, here's what has totally resolved my problem: Yakult probiotic (2.7 oz bottle/day), sesame oil (drizzle on soups, etc.), coconut milk (canned whole-fat type on cereal), magnesium (1 pill/day), and avoid pasta & cheese. Works for me, and what a relief! Some might say this is too much, but I don't ever want to go through that again. Of course, I also exercise, eat high-fiber food, and drink lots of water, but it just wasn't enough. I've seen others on this forum mention this issue, so perhaps it's worth a try.

I'm up to 1 tablespoon of Walgreen's branded milk of magnesia a day (cherry tastes less bad to me than the others). It works fine. About once every week and a half I take a double dose but it's easy for dumb, lazy 'ole me to handle.

After a trip to the ER to relieve blockage due to same a little over a year ago, I feel your pain LOL. What I have come across is adding daily dose of psycillium husks powder to a daily protein drink. Some caution must be taken due to it expands something like 10x, but helps a lot. good luck
