Default problem with bad odor

I recently had an old girlfriend on the chat and we were discussing our relationship when she brought up the issue of body odor. She said I had severe odor all over like really sweaty. I can break a sweat sitting still because of dyskinesia and I mentioned that it takes a lot of effort for me to simply move around so its like I'm always working out.
Have any of you had this problem and how have you dealt with it? I shower daily if not 2x a day, use deodorant and wear cotton clothes. In suspecting body hair for trapping odors I have begun to shave my armpits and down below. I don't know what else to do. As if its not bad enough, sheez.

Many people stay really hot because of PD (others , like me stay cold! I'm always different it seems) Anyway, I found out years ago that I could wash under my armpits several times a day and within an hour have odor again...very distressing. Then I started taking cranberry capsules after reading they were good to help against urinary tract infections (which I was plagued with at the time...low and behold...odor was gone
(at least most of the time) So I have taken cranberry supplement every day since about
1982...also have not had UT's since then but twice I think....not bad. Sometimes certain foods seem to make "foul sweat" I think that the body is trying to get rid of toxins then.
At times I have taken up to 3 or 4 capsules a day ...also you can try cranberry juice or concentrate (these usually have sugar and I have to stay away from that if possible)

Jim, this is very interesting to me as I also have that problem. I've tried just about everything but still have the problem. I fear the possible toxicity in most antiperspirants, so I wash frequently, try to stay cool, & use vinegar or baking soda or Aubrey Organics deodorants. Last year I posted the following thread here but got no responses at all:

Underarm Odor and Amantadine
Apologies for posting a sensitive subject, but I've noticed something very interesting about Amantadine and wonder how it might be related to PD. When I took Amantadine, I totally lost a difficult and embarrassing problem that I've had ever since my teens: unusually heavy underarm sweating with a very bad and persistent odor, especially under my PD-affected right arm. I personally believe this odor is related somehow to PD and might be an early biomarker for some types of PD. It's almost as if my body is trying to eliminate toxins or something through my sweat. I'm going to stop Amantadine, because it didn't help my PD symptoms much if at all, and is giving me intolerable insomnia. But I will certainly miss this one great side effect!

Any comments or similar observations?
