It took me a three month taper to get off Cymbalta! It was terrible, and I had those head and face zaps too! Go slowly and don't rush it! I envy you! I have tried going off all my meds, and I could not function at ALL! I could not get out of bed, walk, talk, or anything.....once I start back to full time PT and start exercising more, I am hoping to reduce the amount of meds I take, because I find my mood is better when I take less meds.

I don't have a choice, I also have a neuro-receptor disorder which means I get instant immunity to any drugs effects after one dose, but be warned it ain't easy fighting this without them, all I've got is willpower, my cigarettes (Specialist told me off for trying to cut down,said it could push me over the edge) and Rock n Roll but it gets a liitle bit hard with each spread each hurt
