Last night, my son was asking me, about how much more money, I was making at my new job. And, in trying to not tell him specifically how much I make. I did some numbers crunching.

27% increase, it what it boils down to. Today, the Business Manager stopped by, and told me, that her AND the Director both felt I was doing an Awesome/Amazing job, and to keep up the good work!!!

My probationary period, sounds like it was end, when I finish my training course and receive one of the certificates, that I need.

The slide into this position was so swift, there was no time to get this done, first. This came about, not out of a retirement, but because the person before me, took a step down; it was quick.

I'm almost half-way done with my course, then I can take the test.

But, 27%. Too good to let that opportunity slip by

That sounds lo awful Barb. Hampton Inn is a good place though. So glad that part of your journey was over.

Barb, what an ordeal. Glad you're home...

I'm not sure, but I think I'm having an exacerbation. Having a GREAT deal of difficulty with both legs now. I've never had this much diffficulty walking. And a muscle behind my right knee is tightening up and pulling my leg towards the middle now...ouch
And I'm so fatigued that I sleep most of the afternoon. I haven't been like this for a few months. Scares me to be away from home and my neuro...
We're going up to the cabin this weekend...but there's so much to do-getting the boats into the water, cleaning and organizing the new garage, taking down the short wall we had around the old garage and (maybe) redoing it to keep the dirt from eroding. I am hopeful that DH will pay someone to do this, since it takes so much time with digging and leveling. And then there's taking care of GD...
I am trying to be positive and take one day at a time...counting the days til I can sleep in my bed again...

Debbie,

You shouldn't be doing that hard labor. When I do it, it makes my symptoms act up too. I hired someone this year to edge the gardens and spread mulch. You need to take it easy. You can hire help for those big jobs.

Happy to be home. I am still in recovery mode. I am driving home to Ohio around June 6th so I hope to be recovered by then. My mom turns 85 on June 9th so I want to be there for her birthday.

Deb -- I cannnot imagine how you are doing everything. Hope you are not having an exacerbation. I was not feeling great by the end of my trip in Austin. My sweet little niece told me I was like I sloth when I was not feeling well..

I could have sworn I went to bed around 1030 last night. I took one of my Ambien's. Opened my computer, this afternoon...and realized I posted somewhere else, around 1130pm, last night. Certainly, my words, but..ummm...wow!! My mind must have been in overdrive. Nothing bad or anything, that just doesn't usually happen to me, that I am aware of.

It's going be a rainy weekend. Shucks, so much for procrastinating my way out of housework,

One of the side effects of ambien is sleep walking, eating ... Some. people have even gotten into their cars and have driven. I take ambien ER. I have occasionally woken up during the middle of the night and have convinced myself that if I do not get a snack I will not be able to fall back asleep. I usually eat something and will watch tv for about an half hour or so and go back to bed and fall right back asleep. I am conscious that I am doing it but only partially if that makes any sense. I have not done that for a long time.

I only recall, doing something in my sleep, on it, before. Woke up, in the middle of the night, grabbed my phone-which was the closest thing to me, and wrote in my search engine, 'He BLEW it, chasing the Shark.', then fell back to sleep.

What's the difference, between the ER and regular? I've had this script for, I want to say, almost 3 years. It's not a nightly thing, for me, but lately, more use than I have in a while. Which, for me is a couple a week, instead of once a week or every other week.

My dr mentioned, there is also a med, out there for nightmares, which I have had more of, over the past 6-7 months, than I have in a long time.

Barb,

Nice to hear you made it back. The wise verse I can remember is "there's no place like home." Tell your mom happy birthday!!
