I lost 4 lbs while visiting DS35 & DIL last week. Haven't been this low in a couple of years...I think I should live with them...

I am still the same this week but I've been doing lots of yard work so at least I'm getting a good workout. I hired a lawn service to come in and edge the garden beds and spread mulch though and they are here today. Last time I did that all by myself and it nearly killed me shoveling and spreading the mulch. I'll be able to keep up with it and do it myself now because I won't have schoolwork anymore and I can do a little at a time.

I seem to continue to lose about a half pound a week. I'm getting close to a couple of goals. Back in October of 2011, I weighed 192 , and by spring I had lost a whopping six pounds.

Then on July 1 I got serious and started my current plan. I've lost 42 since July 1, but 48 altogether--so another two pounds to reach the goal of losing 50.

My next goal is 139--just because I want to see a "3" as the second number once more before I die.

Then the next one is 135, so my driver's license will be true.

After that, I haven't decided. I'll see how I'm feeling and what seems realistic. The charts say 124 for my height. I was at 126 several years ago and it felt about right. I don't know if I can get down that low again with as little exercise as I do, and with who knows how many pounds of loose skin that ain't goin' nowhere.

Slowly is the best way to lose weight. Frustrating sometimes, yes, but weight lost slowly rarely comes right back.

I lost a pound this week. Back at 135. Have not been drinking much alcohol, and have been mushroom hunting, which is strenuous.

Very little luck on the 'shrooms.
