Default Philadelphia Neurosurgeons

Hi Lagr,

I'd be happy to share the physicians that gave me surgical opinions! I'd rather not divulge why I chose the one I did, because I feel it is such a personal choice based on so many different criteria!

Dr. Guy Lee - Orthopoedic surgeon. I saw him in Chalfont and he performs surgery at Abington

Dr. Jack Jallo - Neurosurgeon at Jefferson.

Dr. Neil Malhotra - Neurosurgeon at Penn

I selected Dr. Malhotra for a number of reasons. He and his staff have been truly wonderful through the initial surgery and subsequent complications.

For what it's worth, I've heard many good things about Dr. Marcotte, who is also at Penn.

If you've read through all of my posts, you know that I also have a number of issues at various cervical levels. I chose to do ACDF on one level, although a four level fusion was not out of the question.

Yes, it seems to take forever to get an appointment with anyone! Please let me know via this forum or PM if I can help you with anything...anything at all!

Kate

Thank you so much Kate! I am going to look into the 2 Penn surgeons you named. Hopefully they have an opening before mid May. I was running errands this morning and afterwards my left arm and hand felt useless. So tired of this. Thanks again and I may pm you if I have additional questions.
