He is at home. I'm sure he will continue to try to lead the extremely busy life he always has. He has always been a caretaker, whether it is his son on drugs, his wifes family which needs much care, his Mom from four hours away, sending weekly devotional books to my son on law in Iraq or his wifes sister who was married to a crazy man who was a totally religious fanantic that tried to have total control over his wife and children, almost cult like. He was a minster, a wonderful one until he got burnt out. he is now a chaplain in a hospice, still a care giver. His mother in law has alzheimers and father in law has diabetes, lost a leg to it and now has severe kidney disease and Paul takes him to his dialysis 3 times a week. He carried every burden on his shoulder sometimes like he feels like it is a punishment . i have never told him that that is am impression I have on him. He is a wonderful man. when my sister had breast cancer he sent her get well cards every day for 4 years, some inspirational, sometimes humorous.

Oh, i didn't mean to go into all of that. I guess I am just an old sap tonight. I just love my brothers so.

Sorry about ur brother. Hope he is well quick. Were his white blood cells elevated?
That would indicate an active infection. I was diagnosed with rocket mountain spotted fever 2 years ago. My level 3x positive. I got better with 21days of doxycycline. Then worse again. I'm still trying figure out what is wrong with me. funny thing....when they ran the rocky mountain test again, I had no antibodies, so WHICH TEST WAS WRONG?

II don't know any one on here yet, don't know who has medical backgrounds or what. I am not the sharpest tool in the shead, but have him go to an infectious disease specialist.
If it is from a vector, then they are most likely to find it.

Yes his WBC was elevated and he is on an antibiotic to ward off any secondary infection. He feels so much better and was able to joke with me
