Not sure what your sorry about Bizi.

There is nothing to be sorry about.

This is very new to me too. To be at this stage, I've waited 10 + years.

So another day or two wont hurt. The next step is the Case Manager to
put things in place.

Then to start the services. I'm just in awe that we are starting finally.

Its a dream I've waited on to start. Its finally his turn is how I feel.

Dear Donna,

This is good news! Are you saying that Derrick is going to get more services than he has been getting?

Yes, I've waited 10+ years since our county lost the waiver before.

He finally came up on the list again. And the procedure just finished.

I was worried with the seizures stopping we would have a problem.

But his level of skill has fallen further. And he qualifies more.

Hopefully that makes sense.

The waiver entitles many things, but till the case worker comes I cant
say what he will get. I do know what I call respite will go up more,
he was getting 64 hours a year. So I tried to give him 6 a month.

Skipping 2 months a year. And then this month I over budgetted because
I had also skipped another month, so he had more for June. But the
company we use paid the extra 3 hours for us. That doesn't happen much,
usually I have to pay the hours if I want them.

I will come back and explain when I know. Might be a week or two.
