Yes, I've waited 10+ years since our county lost the waiver before.
He finally came up on the list again. And the procedure just finished.
I was worried with the seizures stopping we would have a problem.
But his level of skill has fallen further. And he qualifies more.
Hopefully that makes sense.
The waiver entitles many things, but till the case worker comes I cant
say what he will get. I do know what I call respite will go up more,
he was getting 64 hours a year. So I tried to give him 6 a month.
Skipping 2 months a year. And then this month I over budgetted because
I had also skipped another month, so he had more for June. But the
company we use paid the extra 3 hours for us. That doesn't happen much,
usually I have to pay the hours if I want them.
I will come back and explain when I know. Might be a week or two.
