Well this is day 3 on antibiotics. Still haven't had a normal temp unless medicated Advil or Tylenol. I still can't get a deep breath. I'm not sure what to do. Scs is working though. The back brace I was as confused as y'all. I didn't have one the first time. I think all of us are a little worried about this second surgery and backtracking of the lead and the brace reminds me not to bend or twist. I don't like it, but it sure makes you sit up straight!! Speaking of that, I can only sit up for very short periods. I was walking short distances. I lean toward overanalysis, so I've been trying to figure the difference between July (big surgery) and October (little surgery) all I can come up with is cold snap, work stress, and me being uptight. It was same hospital, same dr., same preop nurse, same anesthesia guy, same everything lol, but the post op gifts I get are pneumonia, another virus, and another infection. Eek!!! If by Monday, I don't feel better, then back to the dr. Yippeeeeee!!! I always knew I hated October.

Default Fever

PLEASE BE CAREFUL
fever is telling you something
don't let it go on no more than
3 days or even two if you are compromised

You know those darn post op infections are very stubborn. It really sounds like it is time to get the situation reviewed. Take care and keep us posted. Hugz and prayers.

Feeling as you describe and not able to catch a breath and having a temp over 104, my Doc confirmed I had pneumonia and was so relieved I had ridden the ambulance to the hospital...... were I you and the hospital was halfway competent, I would make that ride before the end of the day so the care could be upticked a notch or two. But then that is just me talking..... I will not mess with suspected pneumonia.
Nope,
Prayin for ya,

We are headed to the ER tomorrow if I feel as poorly then as I do now. It gets worse. Luckily leg pain is stilted by scs or I'd be screaming. Every other day, something else happens yippee.
