Yup, my husband is trained, also. But he does half the laundry, all of the vacuuming, the dishes, the trash, the cat boxes, the carrying of groceries, the lawn, the snow, the chickens, and MUCH more...plus he's 76 and has COPD, a frozen shoulder and other medical issues...
So I do what I can, and what I can't waits until another day. Or week. Or month.
There are days that just one trip up and down stairs (or down and up in our case) is pretty daunting. Other days, I can make a few. If I don't do anything else.
Now I've had a night's sleep and a shower, and yesterday's gone. I was pretty frustrated that it took me all day to change the bed, though. I knew I'd be like this some day, but I thought I'd be 90.
